WHO WE ARE
The USW District 10 & Pennsylvania Heavy & Highway Contractor Bargaining Association Apprentice Training Fund (the "Fund") is looking for candidates who wish to be an Apprentice in pursuit of a career as a Craft Laborer, Carpenter, Cement Mason, Electrician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Operator.
Candidates must be authorized to live and work in the United States. Recruits will be trained and educated to be able to help build and repair Pennsylvania’s roads, bridges, tunnels, and treatment facilities. Selected apprentices must be capable of performing the work of the trade with or without reasonable accommodations and accept a two to four year commitment, depending on the trade. In return, they will gain skills and credentials necessary to succeed in today’s competitive workforce. Apprentices must complete required hours of schooling on their own time. After completion of the program, graduates receive journey worker certification and certificate of completion from the United States Department of Labor.
